The salon and med spa is now open.  We have implemented the following restrictions, precautions, and cleaning procedures in order to be able to operate and perform your services safely. 

 

Appointments:

  • Appointments will be required (no walk-ins) and where we will be limited in our occupancy, for the time being we cannot allow additional guests/children inside.  Exceptions being a parent/guardian accompanying their child for their appointment.

  • Please call upon arrival, we will gladly get the door for you and let you in.   Please continue to leave large bags, jackets and other items in your car.

  • For the safety of our staff and other guests, we will be taking temperature checks with a contactless thermometer and you will be asked if you have experienced any Covid-19 related symptoms within the last 10 days or knowingly been in close contact with someone who has.  If a fever is present of if this is the case, we will require you to wait at least 14 days to fulfill your appointment, but we will do everything we can to prioritize your booking upon your safe return.

  • We will be supplying haircare guests with individual capes (this will be an added $7.50 charge, however these are washable and can be taken home and reused for your next appointments)

  • We will require that all guests where masks while inside Pure Capelli (unless a medical condition prevents this).  Please wear a disposable mask, noting that hair color services may get color on the mask. 

  • Please apply our supplied hand sanitizer upon entering the building to ensure nothing unwanted comes in with you.

 

Additional Precautions:

  • We have removed the waiting area, added a protective barrier, and added markers on the floor to support social distancing around our reception area.

  • Limited the use of the shampoo room to ensure proper social distancing protocols.

  • Reduced the number of stations / stylists working to support our Emergency Maximum Occupancy and to promote social distancing.

  • Provided face shields (where applicable), masks and other protective equipment for our staff.

  • Added availability of hand sanitizer in common and service areas.

  • Daily staff temperature checks and symptom screening for all staff. 

  • Online booking has been temporarily suspended to ensure adequate cleaning and sanitizing procedures between clients.  

  • We will continue suspension of beverage services, and as before you are welcome to bring your own.

  • For this initial Phase 2 period, we will not be blow drying hair as part of the service.

  • If you would like to purchase any products, please let your service provider or front desk coordinator know and we will be happy to select and safely bag the products to minimize unnecessary contact.

 

Added Cleaning Procedures:

  • Continued common surface, front desk, and service area cleaning and sanitizing procedures between each client.

  • The salon and staff are now Barbicide Covid-19 Certified, demonstrating training and understanding of proper sanitation and disinfection practices and procedures.

  • Continued sanitary laundry procedures utilizing high temperature wash/dry cycles and separate clean/dirty hampers.

  • Ongoing professional cleaning services to maintain a clean work environment.
