Grace first joined our PC team in the summer of 2022 as a receptionist, but became an esthetician in our Huntersville location in October of 2023. Grace moved to Cornelius, NC in 2021, but grew up in Marion NC, just right outside of Asheville. Grace attended WCU for a time and received her Associates in Business, but ultimately decided that the beauty and self-care industry was her dream career path! She attended the Aveda Institute in Charlotte for esthiology and specializes in facials, dermaplaning, waxing, and brow/lash tint/lift services. Outside of work, Grace enjoys traveling, singing, playing the guitar and piano, art, and spending time with her cat, Sasha. Lucy has been in the industry since 1985, she started out doing hair but quickly realized her love for skin took over. She has been an Esthetician since 1991. Lucy truly loves her clients and helping them to achieve there goals in correcting their skin by maintenance treatments and healthy skincare backed by science. She also became a medical Esthetician 17 years ago. Lucy has worked with over 30 different skincare lines medical, cosmeceuticals, and spa lines. She believes in corrective treatments such as Medical peels, Micro needling, IPL skin rejuvenation, RF radio frequency LED light therapy, Cold Hammer, and Ultrasound just to name a few. However, she still loves to do an amazing facial to just increase circulation, plump up collagen, reduce stress, hydrate and just continue maintenance in your skin. Lucy will help you make the right decision what is best for you whether it’s a more natural approach or medical approach. She will make sure to find the right choice for you and your skincare needs.

Meet Chloe! Chloe comes to Pure Capelli with ABC cutting and Babe Hand-tied Extension certifications. She is originally from Greenville, SC and recently moved to the area! The services she loves the most are blonding and lived-in color. Since joining Pure Capelli, she has enjoyed being a member of the team and learning with her fellow stylists. Having lived in color and Kerastase training, she holds certifications that reflect her commitment to delivering top-notch services. A proud graduate of the Aveda Institute, she brings a foundation rooted in excellence to every appointment. Additionally, she holds a coveted JZ Styles extension certificate. Her specialty lies in the realm of blonding and dimensional colors. Each client is a unique canvas, and Aspen takes pride in tailoring hues and tones that not only enhance natural beauty but also align with individual style preferences. What sets Pure Capelli Salon apart for her is the warm and collaborative atmosphere. ‘It's a space where stylists support each other,’’ says Aspen. What makes Pure Capelli special for Allie is the incredible team of talented individuals she gets to work with. It's a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and passion for our craft. Gabby joined the PC team in 2020. She is originally from upstate New York and moved to Lake Norman, North Carolina when she was 5. She specializes in blondes and dimensional colors as well as haircuts in general. She enjoys doing vivid or creative colors! The best part of the job for Gabby is connecting with people and helping them feel good about themselves in their own bodies, as well incorporating her creative flair as well. Jessica has been a part of the Pure Capelli team since 2020. Born in Charlotte and raised in the Lake Norman area, Jessica is a true native of North Carolina. Jessica loves doing and specializes in color services, including anything from highlights to lived-in color. Jessica’s mom did hair when Jessica was younger, which is when Jessica’s passion truly started. Jessica loves doing hair because it allows her to make personal connections with her clients, helping them through life’s trials and celebrating life’s achievements with them. Above all, she loves making the ladies in her chair feel beautiful, inside and out. Outside of hair, Jessica runs an Etsy business with her sister and loves playing with her puppy, Goose. April graduated from Davidson Community College's Cosmetology Program. She specializes in hair extensions and color services.  She has certifications from Bellami for Hair Extensions and Not Another Salon Academy as a Bleach Specialist. When asked about why she loves doing hair, she replied, “I love making dreams come true! The best part of being a stylist is building a person’s self confidence or brightening someone’s day with a hair makeover!” Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her dogs and her three sons. Nichole began working at Pure Capelli in January of 2020. Nichole moved here in 2015 with her husband and son from the beautiful state of Maine. As much as they loved Maine, North Carolina always felt like home whenever they visited family. In 2014, Nichole became a board-certified hairstylist. With over 15 years in the industry, Nichole specializes in razor cuts, pixies and lived-in color. In 2022, Nichole became a stylist manager for the PC Davidson team. Nichole loves being a stylist because it allows her to build fun relationships with her clients and make them feel beautiful. In her own words, “I love for their appointments to be a positive experience!” When she isn’t in the salon, you’ll catch her spending outdoor quality time with her family. Nichole Reynolds

I have been with Pure Capelli since day 1 when we opened in 2019 and recently took on the additional role of stylist manager at our Huntersville location and lead educator. Originally from Southern California, my journey led me to various locations including Seattle, WA where I graduated cosmetology school over a decade ago until I finally planted roots in North Carolina in 2017. Embracing a commitment to continuous learning, I hold multiple Redken certifications, including Redken Blonde Authority and Redken Specialist. I am also certified master of balayage- Balayage Master and various extensions techniques, such as Aqua Hand Tied Extensions, Bellami Hair Pro Master, and Invisible Bead Extension. My true passion lies in color services, specializing in blonding and highlighting, as well as the artistry of hand-tied hair extensions. There’s nothing more rewarding than crafting dream hair for my clients, witnessing the transformative power of a great hairstyle! Beyond the chair, I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of stylists. Guiding and inspiring new talents in the hair world is a personal mission, helping them discover their best selves. Gratitude fills my heart for the Pure Capelli salon family. Working alongside incredible colleagues feels like a second family, making every day enjoyable. I am fortunate to be part of a team where creativity and love thrives. Away from the salon, I wear the hats of a mom to a fantastic preteen boy and a wife to an incredible husband. Our family includes two Great Danes and a lively Chihuahua/Terrier mix, whose antics often become the talk of my chair. We are avid travelers, constantly exploring new places and indulging in new foods/experiences as a family!

Kelly Grathwohl has been doing hair in the Lake Norman area since 2001, bringing over 20 years of professional experience doing hair and color.  Prior to launching Pure Capelli, Kelly served as a founding artistic director for Valeria Salon and Carmen Carmen Salon of Charlotte.  Before moving to NC, she worked as a senior stylist at Capello's Salon in Buffalo, NY, where she is originally from. Kelly brings her creative passion for hair along with her unparalleled focus on service to Pure Capelli.  She was formally trained at the Marjon School of Beauty in Buffalo, NY, with additional master training in New York City and internationally in London, England and Toronto, Canada. Kelly is a Davidson resident and is married with two children.
